  • images recorded by the video surveillance system at Domaine de Canaille are retained for a maximum of 14 days, subject to the exceptions described below.

The purpose of the system is to protect people and property and to prevent and, where necessary, investigate intrusions, theft, damage or other security incidents.

No cameras are installed in bedrooms, bathrooms or any other private indoor areas made available to guests.

The video surveillance system is not intended to monitor guests’ behaviour or activities.

Recorded images may only be accessed by authorised persons and, where circumstances require, may be disclosed to the competent authorities.

Recorded images are retained for a maximum of 14 days from the date of recording.

In the event of an incident, certain recordings may be extracted and retained for a longer period where necessary to establish the facts, protect or exercise our legal rights, in connection with legal proceedings, or at the request of the competent authorities.

The processing of video surveillance images is based on the legitimate interest of LE REVESTEL CAP CANAILLE in ensuring the safety and security of people and property.

Information regarding the presence of video surveillance is also displayed at the property.
